Walking stick. Native American tradition

Native American walking sticks were made to represent their spirituality and their traditions. Many people would think that the walking stick used by Native Americans would be used if they had back problems like nowadays. However, that is not the case, because to the Native Americans these sticks represented their beliefs and traditions. I created this walking stick with this in mind. A dream catcher has been added to catch all the bad dreams as you stroll leisurely through the woods while taking in nature at its finest. I enjoy collecting sticks and what nature has to offer and making something beautiful from these gifts. If interested in purchasing this walking stick, visit my Etsy store Debsdetails to view.

Photos and More Photos

Box after box of photographs. Vacations, holidays, weddings, birthdays and just because pictures. What is one to do with all those pictures? I scrap them. Over the years I have made calendars for my family to give as gifts at Christmas. The joy and laughter is priceless!! These pictures will be cherished forever. I add some journaling, but most of the journaling is completed by the recipient. At the end of the year, family members return the calendars to me and I then scrap them into a 12 x 12 memory album and add more embellishments and papers. The albums are then returned to the recipient as another gift for birthdays or Mother's Day.

Do you have boxes and boxes of pictures? I can help. I would be more than happy to put your cherished pictures on a calendar or in a memory book of your choosing. Give as a gift or have one made for yourself. I put my memory albums out on my cocktail table when I know I am going to be entertaining. Everybody enjoys looking at the pictures and it is an excellent conversation piece.

You can see more of my scrapbooking work at http://www.scrapbookingforevermore.blogspot.com

I also do plastic canvassing to relax in the evenings when time allows. Working two part-time jobs and running my own business keeps me very busy and out of trouble. Here are a few pictures of what I have made.

DebsDetails in full Spring mode!

Debs Details is now in full Spring mode!
I am Deb of Debs Details. Along with my sister Cindy, we created Debs Details to fuel our passion for creativity.
I thought I would share a bit about us.

Cindy and I are musicians and artists. Our acoustical, musical act is called The Fallen Angels. We have been singing ever since I can remember! Cindy is a self taught guitarist who plays upside down, and backwards. Being self taught, she never gave it a second thought. Guess she keeps good company as Jimmy Hendrix also played this way! We write our own songs as well as doing cover tunes. I have a more theatrical background having been on stage since I was very little. Directing, acting and backstage work has always been a passion for me. I have also taught drama through out the years which I find very rewarding. Our website can be found here: https://sites.google.com/site/thefallenangels1/home2

Our art work is eclectic and ranges across the board! Cindy is a fine artist working in all kinds of medias were as I am more of a textile artist.

We also teach belly dance. We have been dancing since the 70's and found ourselves teaching the Egyptian form of this beautiful folk dance as a recent adventure. Our company is called Tipsy Gypsy Fun and it is indeed fun! Check out our website and book a party! http://www.tipsygypsyfun.com/

Our art work is on Etsy as well as in Three Sisters Spirit in Waukesha, WI. If you get a chance, check out the store! Also of amazing hand crafted items as well as classes to attend! http://www.sisterspirit3.com/

Cindy has a beautiful moon she created! April's full moon is named the Seed Moon: Plan a ritual to physically plant your seeds of desire in Mother Earth. What better way to celebrate this moon with a work of hand crafted art! This moon can be purchased at our Etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=44633418

Stop by Debs Details on Etsy and see what else we have created. Hand crafted items make perfect gifts! :) http://www.etsy.com/shop/DebsDetails
If you have any questions or comments, dont hesitate to convo me on etsy. We do custom work as well.
